Stretch & Conditioning
CLASS TYPE: Full Year, Sept-June. Technique. No commitment beyond class!
At Snap Dance Studios we offer specialized stretch and conditioning classes to our students as a great “extra” class for any dancer and/or athlete who wishes to improve their endurance, strength and flexibility. Our stretch and conditioning classes are taught by our certified Acrobatics Arts teachers who are extremely well versed in anatomy and kinetic training; in this class you will learn many of the fundamentals of acro strength, flexibility and endurance training without the flips and tricks of an acro class.
Stretch and Conditioning is a great class for students to get comprehensive guidance on their flex training and conditioning training. This well balanced class ensures that dancers and/or athletes of other sports, learn and complete an exercise routine during their scheduled class. One of the benefits of the exercises and the routine that are taught in class is that students can also translate this workout into their own home conditioning routine.
It’s not just for dancers!
Snap Dance Studios Stretch and Conditioning class is also an awesome option for kids in others sports, such as: skating, gymnastic, hockey, and soccer. Our Stretch and Conditioning program is a fabulous form of cross training and can help students improve their “game”. This program will help students find efficiency, balance, strength, and flexibility in their range of motion.
Stretch and Conditioning will teach students proper muscle engagement, strength building and increase their range of motion with beneficial and safe flexibility training. Students will work on strengthening their core in their class and discuss the importance of engagement and performance through and from the core muscles.
Efficient Training
At Snap Dance Studios we strive to provide our dancers with the best dance education possible; this class offers our students essential and exceptional supplementary training. Stretch and Conditioning offers the students integral training that is not always provided in their technical classes or training; it will enhance student’s physical capabilities for more efficient training.
*We highly encourage all of our competitive dance students to enroll in our Stretch and Conditioning class.
