Wild Rose Winter Scholarship Auditions

This past Sunday, Jan 27 the Wild Rose Dance Arts Association (WRDAA) held their annual Winter Scholarship Auditions.

This event is an opportunity for dancers in the Calgary area whose studio’s belong to the WRDAA to come out, audition for a panel of judges in tap, jazz and ballet. The Association awards scholarships to the top dancers in each age group and category. This year, over 300 dancers participated and over $15,000 in scholoarships were awarded.

We had 8 Snappers take part in this awesome event this year. Congratulations to all of you for participating and to:

• Sydney S. – Ballet Scholarship 6-7 year olds
• Megan F. – Jazz Scholarship – 8 year olds
• Avery C. – Bodythings Scholarship

Miss Alison and Miss Courtney encourage all dancers to watch for this event next season. It is a great opportunity for dancers to experience a real audition (that is fun and friendly), win a scholarship to put towards your dance training and meet some great dancers and make new friends!
