We did it team!
After a year of ups and downs, dancing online and many pivots – we finally made it to the stage – and oh boy did it feel good!
With all of our protocol in place, our solos, duos, trios and small groups participated in our first ever Snap Fest – Spring Showcase, redesigned – to include an adjudicator, special awards, live-streaming and overall awards and scholarships.
It was a wonderful day, filled with joy, smiles and amazing dancing.
This season we have 60 solos, 19 duos, 6 trios, and 4 extra small groups who have put in the work, despite the craziness and hardships of the season, and they shone on stage for a virtual crowd of supportive parents, grandparents and friends who logged in to watch on Zoom all day long.
It takes a village to make the day a success, and we want to say thank you to:

Cory Harding, for your wonderful work capturing our dancers and your beautiful photos.
Our teachers and STEP helpers for your creativity, thinking outside the box to create socially distanced routines and for your dedication to our students all season long.
The parents for all you do for your children and the investment of resources to have these routines come to life. This year more than ever, thank your for helping them navigate new and ever-changing circumstances.

And of course, to the dancers – your hard work and commitment to your pieces paid off and you put on one heck of a show!

Spring Showcase kicks off, what we feel is, the most wonderful time of year! We plan for competitive groups take the stage in a few weeks for rehearsals and then we are off to competition. We are excited to watch you all continue to grow throughout the season and for the awesome memories that come along with it!
Each event we accomplish this season feels like icing on the cake and we are grateful for each day we get to keep dancing – but this one, filled with so many smiles and so much passion, felt extra special!
