On Saturday, January 14 we honoured the one-and-only Miss Julie as she embarks into retirement after nearly two decades with our dance family as a dance mom, costume creator, administrator, and our beloved “Mother Hen”.

Miss Julie touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with, with her kindness and compassion; she made Snap look fabulous everywhere we went, by giving our costumes and décor that special “Miss Julie touch”; and she kept us all organized by going above and beyond in her role.

The afternoon tea party was a delight, with over 100 dancers and their families from across the generations coming out to celebrate. A huge thank you to our Snap Parents’ Association for all of their hard work to put the tea together, to all who donated delicious treats and to everyone who came out to say ‘see you around’ (we can’t possible say goodbye!).

Miss Julie will be dearly missed by all, but we wish her nothing but the best! We know she will continue to spread joy wherever she goes!
