Why do we compete?
We believe it helps the class to work towards a common goal and get feedback on their performance. Attending these competitions also allows dancers to get inspired and see what else is out there. Also, we encourage dancers to celebrate what they accomplished, not what medal they were awarded.
Class Selection
Teachers will select classes for competition based on commitment and ability level. The selected classes will participate in Calgary and area competitions. Snap usually attends two to four competitions each year. Fees for groups typically range from $25-$35 per group/competition and are due around Christmas time. Competition information will be released prior to Christmas.
